My Story
I care about how people understand climate, not just the science behind it.
I care about stories that move people to act, not reports that gather dust.
And I care about making sustainability make sense in everyday life. I am a sustainability and climate communications professional with a background in forestry, working at the intersection of sustainability, communication, and community engagement.
My focus is turning complex environmental topics into clear, useful messages that people can actually use.
Through building TalkClimateAfrica, I have led climate education and public awareness work, supported youth engagement, and created accessible climate content for diverse audiences. My work has helped reach and engage hundreds of people across online and in-person spaces, making climate topics more practical, relatable, and grounded in real life. I have also contributed to applied sustainability projects, including collaborative work on circular economy and sustainable waste management.
One project explored converting textile waste into construction materials, strengthening my skills in systems thinking, teamwork, and solution-focused sustainability work.
Now based in Canada, I am seeking opportunities to support sustainability and environmental programs through clear communication, coordination, and strong writing. I bring experience working with communities, translating technical ideas for non-technical audiences, and supporting projects from idea to delivery.
I am especially interested in roles where I can help communicate impact clearly, support meaningful sustainability initiatives, and contribute to organizations advancing environmental and social responsibility.
